Mugo pine #6

Mugo pine, Pinus mugo, collected in Switzerland in 1983. Clearly one of the pines in Europe that is in cultivation the longest.

It had been wired four or five times so in thirty years.

first image: July 2010, looking pretty good, the pot is too small
second image: February 2011 right after I had placed the fully intact root ball into the new pot by John Pitt
third image: September 2012, some branches were lost or partially lost. The whole tree appears neglected So I decided to make major overhaul and wired everything for the fifth time.

I like the result which promises to become a major pine again.
